Star Bright Village 

December

Over 300,000 lights and Holiday themed displays bring the Holiday season to life. Whether you’re walking or driving through, this event will bring out your holiday spirit as the lights shine bright and the holiday music plays over the radio. Located at McKinney Park, 625 W Pool Rd (off of Interstate-20 and Highway 385), during the month of December.

Christmas Village at Rolling 7's Ranch

Santa Clause is Coming to Town!!! The Christmas Village is under construction as we speak. It's absolutely Amazing. There will be live Reindeer, Santa, food, a toy shop, a candy shop, and much more! We will be open to the Public on December 3rd & 10th, & from December 17th-23rd from 12:00 noon- 8pm. Start your Merry Christmas with us! Grasslands Carriage Rides 

 December

Can you think of a better way to look at Christmas lights than to ride in a horse drawn carriage? We will gather in the Midland Lowe's parking lot. You should contact Vicky at 432-940-3161 to make your reservation. Make sure to tell her if you are a 40 Something Cowgirl so you can ride the group. Adults $30 Children 12 and under $10

 ReinBeer VII

 December 5th

Now in its seventh year, ReinBeer is a special holiday celebration for young Midlanders with hors d'oeuvres, plenty of beer for tasting and an open bar. Centennial Family Game Night

Roll the dice, pick a card, spin the wheel, and enjoy a variety of classic and popular board games with your family at the Centennial Library. Games are provided and suggestions are encouraged.  HEB Feast of Sharing

December 8th 

Join in the festivities and experience the joy as we stop in communities all over Texas to provide holiday meals and good cheer at our annual H‑E‑B Feast of Sharing holiday dinner. The Feast of Sharing is the culmination of a year‑round commitment H‑E‑B makes to fighting hunger. In addition to a holiday meal you can enjoy music, arts and crafts, and kids activities‑even an appearance by Santa himself.

 Parents Night Out - Midland YMCA

 December 8th

Child care is provided at the YMCA for children 6 weeks -12 years old from 6pm - 9pm. Parents, take this chance to do some shopping, have a date night or give your children a fun night at the YMCA! Kids enjoy a night of fun filled activities. Participants will receive dinner and a drink. Please RSVP by the day before.

Yuletide at the Yucca

Christmas Parade in Midland 

 December 9th

The public is invited to attend the City of Midland’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade, being held the first two weekends in December.  The Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at the Wadley Baron Duck Pond, 1001 N. A Street, on December 2nd at 6:00 PM. The Christmas Parade will be held on December 9th at 6:30 PM. The theme this year is Midland’s Merry Emoji Christmas. The parade route will follow A Street from Ventura Avenue (near Windlands Park) to near Midland High School. Road closures along A Street will begin at 4:00 PM; drivers are advised to use an alternate route. To register a parade float or to learn more, please visit www.midlandtexas.gov or call (432) 685-7379. Parade entry registrations will be accepted until December 7th.

Winter Market

 Midland Downtown Farmers' Market is located at the Museum of the Southwest: 1705 W Missouri Ave, Midland, Texas 79701. Come shop local for holiday gifts and of course fresh produce. Grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and cheer on runners at The Museum of the Southwest Ugly Sweater Run. The Market will be located between the Children's Museum and Planetarium.  Tales and Tails

December 12th 

Tales and Tails is a free* interactive story program for 2-4 year olds and their siblings. We will explore the dark with our different senses, just like nocturnal animals. No registration is required. Just show up at Sibley ready to have fun learning about nocturnal animals! December 12th from 10am-11am. *recommended $2 donation.  Pancakes with Santa

December 16th 

Saturday, December 16 from 6 PM - 8 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Midland: 1906 W Texas Ave, Midland, Texas 79701. Please join us in the Parlor for a pancake dinner provided by the Knights of Columbus. Listen to the story of St. Lucy, make an ornament for the Church and have your picture taken with Santa.

 Saturday Movie: Polar Express

Winter Swim Camp 

 Dec 26th- Jan 5th

COM Aquatics Winter Camp is located at COM Aquatics in Midland at 3303 N A Street. Kids drop off camp includes swimming, games , and other fun activities! 8 am – 12 noon  OR 1 – 5 pm  OR  All day 8 am – 5 pm. Guppies (ages 3 – 7)  Sharks (ages 8 - 13) $45 for full day (includes lunch)... $25 for half day (lunch not offered)... $170 Full week all day (includes lunch)
