 Midland Downtown Farmer's Market

 Saturdays April - October

The mission of the Midland Downtown Farmers' Market is to create a sense of community as well as promote local businesses, artisans, and producers. Our goal is to not only offer an outlet for these products but to also bring the community together for an event that celebrates our local diversity and choice. We congregate in downtown Midland, TX every Saturday from the first Saturday in April until the last Saturday in October. Now located at 1705 W. Missouri Avenue on the lawn of the Museum of the Southwest. Open from 8:30am - 12:30pm each Saturday. See more at:

RTD Skatepark - Free Group Lessons 


Want to learn how to skate or just need help landing that new trick? Then join us every Saturday morning from 9am to noon for our FREE group lessons included with every paid admission. All ages and levels are welcome. RTD Skatepark is located at 2000 S FM 1788 in Midland. - See more at:

Old Highway 80 Huacha Benefit Tournament

Old Highway 80 Huacha Benefit Tournament will be held at: 2201 E. Front St. Midland, TX

1:00 pm-21 ft. tournament- $50.00 a team

3:00 pm-45 ft. tournament- $50.00 a team

 MDA Ride for the Cure

Aug 15th 

Registration opens at 9:00 am, $20 per person, $10 per passenger. Ride starts & ends at Legacy Harley-Davidson. Also a Silent Auction and Lunch  provided. For more information, call: Legacy Harley-Davidson at 432-561-8991. Raffle Grand Prize: 2015 Harley-Davidson Road King, tickets are only $20 or 6 for $100! Purchase tickets at the MDA office, Legacy Harley-Davidson, any Legacy HOG Chapter or any Weatherford employee. Drawing will be at 4:00 pm. Need not be present to win. All proceeds benefit MDA of the Permian Basin.

Mysteries at the Museum 

Aug 20th 

This is NOT your kids science night. Put on your classiest cocktail attire with a mad scientist twist. Strap on your safety goggles, throw on a lab coat, and make sure that pocket protector is in place because we will be solving scientific mysteries by performing mind-blowing experiments. No goggles, no lab coat, no problem; you can borrow ours. If you made it last year, you know how mad we can be. Don’t miss this evening of exploration and experimentation! Midland County Fair - 6th Annual 

 Aug 20th - 23rd

The Midland County Fair will be held at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena & Pavilion in Midland. There will be everything you expect and enjoy in a local area fair! Activities include Carnival Rides, Petting Zoo, Chase Quine Memorial Bull Riding, Mounted Shooters, Creative Arts Exhibits, Tractor Pull, Monster Truck Rides, Little Miss County Fair, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Mexican Rodeo or “Charreada” Latino Celebration, and Live Entertainment.  $5 per person/per day.  Meet the Rebels

Aug. 25th 

Come Meet the 2015-2016 JV & Varsity Lee High School Rebels and Alamo & Abel Junior High players at 7pm at Lee High School. The coaches will be introduced, Rebel apparel will be sold and the Dixie Dolls, Cheerleaders, and the Lee Band will be in attendance.


Aug 29th - 30th 

The Commemorative Air Force's AIRSHO is held annually at Midland International Air & Space Port in Midland-Odessa, Texas. The first AIRSHO was held in 1963, making it one of the oldest Airshows in the country. 2015 celebrates the 25th year of AIRSHO in Midland-Odessa. This year will feature the USAF Thunderbirds.
