6th Annual Food Drive - Hosted by The Bosworth Company

Dec. 17th - 8am-7pm

This project was birthed in a conversation Christmas 2008 between Randy Bosworth and James Forest. They wanted to do more for the low income elderly community that would include employee involvement. Though Randy passed away a month later, James was committed to follow through with his dream. Seeing a need among the low income elderly and handicapped residents of the Landmark, Manor Crest, Key West and Desert Haven facilities in Odessa, they began the process. Employees and family show up at the Odessa shop early Saturday morning to bag the meals while kids color Christmas cards to be included. When the sacks are loaded in trucks, Santa’s helpers have the joy of delivering to each resident. Obviously they are blessed with the food, but more so by being remembered. The greatest blessing is received by the staff who faithfully donate to fund this project and those who bag and deliver with their family members. The Bosworth Company is located at 311 W 42nd Street in Odessa.
