The Pottery

Diva Night 



 We are all Divas, so get your girls together for this girls night out! Good food, good company and great fun. This Diva Night will be an no pressure instructional class.   We can all create with a little bit of help!  Create lasting memories with your friends. We provide the food, dessert, soft drinks and water. BYOB! 7-10 pm Diva night is the first Thursday of every month. Cost is $15.00 plus the cost of your piece. You must book your reservation 48 hours prior to Diva Night. No refunds

The Jungle Book 




The Midland Community Theatre is showing the timeless classic The Jungle Book.  Raised by wolves, Mowgli grows up believing he’s a fierce member of his pack. When he learns he is not actually a wolf, he embarks on a personal journey of discovery where he must reconcile his two identities and decide whether to remain with his pack, or return to the human world.  Planting Season is fast approaching, and we at Sibley are here to help you make the best of it. New to gardening? New to West Texas? No problem. From vegetables and landscaping, to building beds and keeping them watered, we will give you the tools and the tricks you need to help your spring garden grow.  This is a free* public program geared towards adults, but families and children are welcome.  From 10am-11:30am

Permian Basin Honor Flight



Please join us at 6:00 PM for our monthly Permian Basin Honor Flight general meeting.  We meet at Atmos Energy Community room at the Midland-Odessa Air Terminal (2304 TX-40 Loop, Midland TX 79706).  Anyone wishing to become a volunteer with the Permian Basin Honor Flight is encouraged to come to our general meeting.  Refreshments will be served. See more at:

Tap into Downtown Odessa  



Join us on Saturday, Saint Patrick's Day, March 17, 2018 from 6pm - 10pm for the 2nd annual Tap Into Downtown Odessa, a premier wine and craft beer tasting event! The event will feature Texas' best wines and craft beers to taste, food trucks, and live jazz and acoustic music.  See More at:

Black Jacket Symphony



The Black Jacket Symphony offers a unique concert experience through recreating classic albums in a live performance setting. AC/DC's "Back in Black" album will be performed in its entirety by a group of handpicked musicians specifically selected for this album, with no sonic detail being overlooked--the musicians do whatever it takes to musically reproduce the album. This event is held at 8pm.  See more at:

 Building Bots
 K-2nd Grade

 March 6th

Building Bots enables children to engage in engineering challenges, team building, and robotic creative design. With different themes for each session, your child will love coming to every session! This STEAM (Science – Technology – Engineering – Art – Mathematics) educational programming is a great way to get your kids excited about learning. Equipment used includes Lego Robotics (WeDo 2.0 and Mindstorm EV3), Ozobots, Osmos, and Spheros. Open to students in grades K-6th. See more at:

Voyage to the bottom of the world



 Grab your mukluks and goggles and let Nancy take you on a fantastic, fun adventure that will leave you naturally informed and inspired! From seeing erupting volcanoes to experiencing“water, water everywhere, nor any drop to drink” (The Rime of the Ancient Mariner), it will give you a whole new appreciation for all things West Texas, even mesquite trees!  This is a FREE program, and tea and cookies will be provided. Nature Club 



A mysterious creature is causing trouble at Sibley Nature Center! Things get moved around, trash is turned over, and food mysteriously disappears. No one at Sibley has been able to catch this creature, but things will change this Saturday! We will take to the trails to find tracks, scat, fur, and even use a trail cam to catch this creature. Join us and you might go down in history as the one who discovered Bigfoot.  Nature Club is designed for K-3rd grade students and is $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Spirit of West Texas Spring Break Camp



Every Texas History Month Sibley is visited by the Spirit of West Texas who teaches us lessons from Texas's past. We always learn so much from these visits that we want to share them with 3rd-5th graders in Midland and Odessa.  Campers follow clues left by the Spirit of West Texas to discover a week of spinning wool, cooking over campfires, whittling toys, and learning how Texas History still helps us today.  From 9am-4pm See more at:

Permian  Basin Comicon

Spring Stampede



The second annual Permian Basin Spring Stampede Pro Rodeo at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena will return Friday March 16 and Saturday March 17 with slack scheduled for Thursday, March 15. Each night’s performance will include Kids Mutton Bustin’ event, open to the first 30 who sign up each night. A great way to celebrate Spring Break in the Basin. Doors open at 6:00 PM Performances start at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $15.00 each night, plus fees, with a two-night Ticket $25.00. Children under 5 are Free. Relay for Life  



 Relay for Life of the Permian Basin is having a give back night at Gattiland in Odessa on March 29th from 5:00pm-8:30pm.  The American Cancer Society will benefit 15% of the sales.  See more at:

 Easter Spring Fling



The annual City of Odessa Parks & Recreation Easter Spring Fling will look to have another large crowd this year!  Our family-oriented Easter Spring Fling will take place on Saturday, March 31 at UTPB Park - E. Loop 338 & Hwy 191 and will include both the Bunny Hop 5k Fun Run and an Easter Egg Hunt.  Plus a special guest will be Peter Cottontail himself! 5K starts at 9am and Egg hunt starts at 11am.  See more at:
