HEB Feast of Sharing

November 2

Join in the festivities and experience the joy as we stop in communities all over Texas to provide holiday meals and good cheer at our annual H‑E‑B Feast of Sharing holiday dinner.
The Feast of Sharing is the culmination of a year‑round commitment H‑E‑B makes to fighting hunger. In addition to a holiday meal you can enjoy music, arts and crafts, and kids activities‑even an appearance by Santa himself. This event takes place from 4pm-8pm at the Horseshoe Arena.

 Disney Junior Dance Party

Are you ready to DANCE?!? Disney Junior Dance Party On Tour Presented by Pull-Ups® Training Pants! is an ALL NEW interactive live concert experience. Sing along to Disney Junior’s greatest hits with your favorite characters: Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Sofia The First, Puppy Dog Pals, Elena of Avalor, Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, The Lion Guard, Muppet Babies and more! Kids of all ages and their families are invited to get up and dance, play games and join the biggest dance party around.

 Shining Hope Luncheon

Join Buckner and Jenna Bush Hager, NBC Today Show Contributing Correspondet, for the Shining Hope Luncheon celebrating Buckner in Midland! Proceeds from the luncheon will help provide support for Buckner Family Patways and foster care and adoption services in the Midland community.

Building Bots

Building Bots enables children to engage in engineering challenges, team building, and robotic creative design. With different themes for each session, your child will love coming to every session! This STEAM (Science – Technology – Engineering – Art – Mathematics) educational programming is a great way to get your kids excited about learning. Into the Great White Sands 

 November 9

The Museum of the Southwest is pleased to debut the exhibition - Into the Great White Sands, eloquent photographs of White Sands National Monument by acclaimed photographer Craig Varjabedian. The artist created these masterful images during a period of over five years as he explored the surrealistic landscape of White Sands, located in southeastern New Mexico. The public reception is Friday Nov. 9th from 6-8pm. You are invited to join Craig Varjabedian at 7pm for an evening of conversation and stories of his remarkable experiences making the photographs for Into The Great White Sands.  See more at:

 Nature Club: Nature Hike

Nature Club is designed for students K-3rd to learn all the different ways they can enjoy the outdoors of West Texas while encouraging curiosity and nurturing the understanding that the natural world has intrinsic value through outdoor exploration, games, experiments, and up-close animal encounters. See More at:

Tales & Trails  



This program is designed for 2-4 year old children, and younger siblings are welcome. Sibley Nature Tales and Trails is a Free Program with a suggested donation of $2. There is no need to register, just show up ready for fun! Our next Program will be on November 13 at 10 a.m. at Sibley Nature Center, and is all about Sounds of Nature! See more at:

Erth's Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure

Hunt for Heroes banquet

November 15

In effort to show support, select U.S. Service Men and Women from different branches of our armed forces are honored for their services to this country at our Hunt for Heroes Banquet every year. The Banquet will be held prior to their departure to participate in an all expense paid whitetail deer hunt and the wives of our soldiers get a week of West Texas Hospitality. This is our way of saying "THANKS!" West Texas style. See more at:

Face the Race 5K 

November 17

Face the Race is an after-school program for junior high girls, held at all four Midland ISD Junior High Schools.  Through the 8-week program, each participant has the opportunity to be mentored by members of the Junior League of Midland.  At the conclusion of the program, they will be challenged with the goal of finishing our 5K race.  Its focus includes physical fitness, goal setting, women's health and wellness, self-esteem, career education and other relevant topics for this age group.  Running Face the Race alongside these amazing young ladies shows them how much their community loves and supports them.  Help us celebrate them achieve their goals by making it to the finish line!  The proceeds from Face the Race go back to the Junior League of Midland to help support Face the Race and our other great community projects.

17th Annual Turkey Trot - to fund Midland County Greater Works monthly food to low-income, mobility challenged Elderly and/or Disabled of Midland County.

MARC "Over the Edge" Fundraiser

MARC is hosting its first "Over the Edge" fundraiser, which will give participants the chance to rappel "over the edge" of the downtown Community National Bank building.
A number of brave Edgers will have the opportunity to rappel down the Community National Bank Building, in exchange for donations back to the amazing local non-profit organization, MARC.  See more at:
