Movies in the Park  


Movies in the Park is one of the main annual attractions that has become a tradition with most families in Odessa. The movies are hosted throughout the summer months and attract hundreds of families to the parks each year to watch some of the best movies available.   Join us for 8 movies on 8 nights, all for free!  Cannot beat that anywhere! So pack up the kids, lawn chairs and blankets and head to your neighborhood Park. Summer Sunday Lawn Concerts  



Grab a lawn chair, cooler, and friends and join us June and July, on the front lawn of the historic Turner Mansion for the 32nd season of our FREE Summer Sunday Lawn Concerts.7:30 to 9 p.m. Guests are welcome to come early to get the party started! We'll bring the music, you bring a drink. We'll see you all on the lawn. Summer will be over faster than you think!FREE to the community through the generosity of the musicians, corporate sponsors, underwriters and media sponsors. Movie Maker Monday



Movie Maker Mondays will be held on the first and third Monday of June & July. Each Movie Maker Monday will feature a movie, popcorn, hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and games. Movie Maker Mondays are held from 1:00 – 5:00 pm and are for students ages 6-12. Cost is $10 for Museum members and $15 for non-members. Summer Mummers 



This is year's melodrama is: Prehistoric Popcorn Party in the Permian Basin or Yabba Dabba Don't.  Performances are every Friday & Saturday starting May 31st - August 31st, curtain time is 8:00 PM.  Summer Mummers is recommended for adults 16 or older and everyone must have a ticket. It is best to wear casual clothes (machine washable) and sneakers are recommended footwear.   All major credit cards are accepted for items purchased.  SM Tokens are required for all alcohol purchases but may also be used to purchase all other items (popcorn, mugs, T-shirts, etc.)  Tokens are $5 each.  For more information please contact the Box Office (432)570-4111 or email:

Summer Science Camps



During our Summer Science Camps, students will engage in fun experiments, creative activities, and robotic design. Camps for students ages 6-8 will be held the last three weeks in June. The cost is $60 for Petroleum Museum members and $75 for non-members. Topics will include Robotics, STEM Art, and Tinkering. Pre-registration is required.  For ages 8-12, we will be offering two four-day, half day Science Camps in July. The cost is $80 for  Museum members and $100 for non-members. Topics include Robotics and the Science Behind Sports.  See more at

  Hot Summer Nights Concert Series

Are you searching for a fun, free evening full of various kinds of music, food trucks, and children's activities? Then this is the event series for you! Bring the lawn chairs, blankets, and the kids to this free event on Friday evenings during each summer. The concerts start at 8:00 p.m. and are located at Noël Plaza, next to the Ector County Library. In the event of inclement weather, shows will be moved to Odessa High School.

Family Fridays:  Architecture 



Family Fridays are back! Enjoy fun, educational activities this summer based on themes that foster creativity and a love of learning among all ages. 2019 Cinema Under the Stars

A summer favorite, Cinema Under the Stars is back, with a whole new line up of 9 free movies throughout summer 2019.  This 3 part movie series will take place one Saturday each month during the summer under the Wagner Noël PAC starfield inside the theatre.
