 Midland Downtown Farmer's Market

 Saturdays April - October

The mission of the Midland Downtown Farmers' Market is to create a sense of community as well as promote local businesses, artisans, and producers. Our goal is to not only offer an outlet for these products but to also bring the community together for an event that celebrates our local diversity and choice. We congregate in downtown Midland, TX every Saturday from the first Saturday in April until the last Saturday in October. Now located at 1705 W. RTD Skatepark - Free Group Lessons 

Saturdays 

Want to learn how to skate or just need help landing that new trick? Then join us every Saturday morning from 9am to noon for our FREE group lessons included with every paid admission. Easter Egg Eggstravaganza

April 2nd - 5:30pm 

The public is invited to participate in a free egg hunt this Easter at the City of Midland Parks and Recreation Division's Easter Egg Eggstravaganza on Thursday, April 2. The community Easter egg hunt will take place for a second year at the MLK Jr. Park (1415 E. Scharbauer, next to the MLK Jr. Community Center) starting at 5:30 p.m. The event is open to participants 12 years old and under. The hunt will be divided into four age groups: 4 years old and under, 5-7 years old, 8-10 years old and 11-12 years old. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with free hot dogs. The Easter egg hunt will take place one age group at a time beginning with the age 4 and under group at 6 p.m.; each group will have its own prize eggs to hunt.  Easter Spring Fling

April 4th - 9am 

The annual City of Odessa Parks & Recreation Easter Spring Fling will look to have another large crowd this year! Our family-oriented Easter Spring Fling will take place on Saturday, April 4th at UTPB Park - E. Loop 338 & Hwy 191 and will include both the Bunny Hop 5k Fun Run and an Easter Egg Hunt.  Child Abuse Prevention Month Event

April 7th - 6:30pm 

Free Hot Dog Dinner, Children's Fun Fair, Balloon Release, and Rememberence Ceremony will be held on April 7th at 6:30pm in Centennial Plaza (Downtown Midland) Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the entertainment. Featuring Justing Lanston, Greenie the Clown, Harlan Rhoads the Balloon Man, Face Painting by Lupe Vasquez, Marsha Lovelady, and Lisa Shrauner. Special Guests: McGruff the Crime Dog, Juice the Moose, Rocky, Socks, and Driller Football Players.

2015 Rock 'N' Stroll for Epilepsy

The Epilepsy Foundation Texas - West Texas is excited to announce our annual Midland/Odessa Rock ‘N’ Stroll for Epilepsy on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Midland YMCA! Great American Cleanup

April 11th

 Old Highway 80 Huacha Tournament

April 11th - 1pm and 3pm

Midland College invites you to the fourth annual See MC event on Saturday April 12th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the main campus of Midland College, located at 3600 North Garfield. This free, all ages, and "come and go" event will include tours, kids’ activities, college presentations, free lunch, booths and grand prizes. A mini Apple Ipad, laptop computer and many other prizes will be awarded. Attendees will be able to ask questions, listen to inspiring stories and see a lot of cool stuff.  Hops and Props 2015

April 11th - 7pm - 10:30pm 

Join the High Sky Wing for the 7th annual Hops & Props 2015 on Saturday, April 11th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the Main Hangar at the Commemorative Air Force, 9600 Wright Drive in Midland. Enjoy tasting over 50 different beers and ciders, sample delicious appetizers from area restaurants and listen to live music by the Chris Brazeal Band, followed by the talents of Mark McKinney. Bid on your favorite silent auction items, featuring a wide variety of items from trips and gift baskets to firearms and airplane memorabilia. Old Sorehead Trade Days 

 April 11th - 12th

Old Sorehead Trade Days is the best little show in West Texas (if you can call 615 booths and 30,000 visitors "little"). Stanton hosts Trade Days three times a year, six days of wonderful shopping. Shows are scheduled the second weekend in April, June and October. Shows are Saturdays 9 AM to 6 PM and Sundays Noon to 5 PM. Old Sorehead Trade Days gathers vendors from all over Texas and the southwest. If you can imagine it, you can find it at Old Sorehead Trade Days.  CNB Customer Shred Day

 April 18th - 9am - 1pm

CNB cares about the security of your personal information! We will be hosting Shred Day on Saturday, April 18th from 9am-1pm in the parking lot of our Cuthbert Branch; 3005 W. Cuthbert in Midland. Bring all of your old sensitive paper documents, like tax documents, check books, bank statements, etc to securely shred on-site. There is a limit of 3 boxes per customer.
